COVID-19 Vaccinations

Whetstone Medical Clinic, 12135 Lancaster St, Millersport, expects to receive 100 Moderna COVID-19 vaccines next week. Call 740-467-2787 to schedule an appointment. An insurance card and ID will need to be presented at the time of the visit; however, individuals without insurance can still receive the vaccine. There will be no cost for the vaccination.

FREE spring clean-up opportunities for Hebron residents!

Village Chipper Day – Tuesday May 11, 2021

Residents should take branches of not more than five inches in diameter, leaving the branch length as long as possible, to the edge of the street where the Public Works Department will pick them up. The Village will NOT go into private yards to retrieve branches. Please set out BRANCHES ONLY! NO shrub, roots, leaves etc.

Village Clean-Up Day - Saturday, May 15, 2021- 8 a.m. to Noon

Drop off items at the Hebron Public Works Facility at 110 Elm Street, Hebron.
Not acceptable: hazardous chemicals, oil, paint, appliances with Freon, or mattresses.
(The Refuse Contractor will collect mattresses wrapped in plastic. For the other items call Licking County Litter & Recycling at 740-670-5125.)

Also: Exterior Property Maintenance inspections will begin May 3, 2021.

FEMA COVID-19 Related Funeral Assistance

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought overwhelming grief to many families. FEMA's mission is to help people before, during and after disasters — and they are dedicated to helping ease some of the financial stress and burden caused by the virus. Traffic Notice

A culvert on US 40/Main Street, between 9th Street and Lakewood Drive, is scheduled to be replaced. The contractor is scheduled to begin construction on May 1, 2021 with single lane closures on US 40 between SR79 and SR37, with flaggers or a temporary signal. Full closure is expected to begin June 1, 2021 for up to 30 days, with detour SR 79 to US 70 to SR 37. Please use caution when approaching the area and plan accordingly.

A message from the Director of Emergency Management Services:

Licking County will be participating in the Statewide Tornado siren test which is scheduled for next Wednesday (3/24) at 0950. The tornado sirens will trigger at this time. We will not be doing the regular test at noon on this day. As part of the test, we will also be testing the Rave Mass Notification System so expect to see all landlines and all opt in numbers receive a call at the same time as well. This will be an automatic message and will be triggered by National Weather.
