Hebron Village Council will hold a Special Council Meeting on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at 6:00pm. The purpose of the meeting is to:
Vote to enter into an agreement with West Licking Fire District and to discuss any other supporting subjects specifically related to Fire/EMS service in the Village
The meeting will take place at the Municipal Complex, 934 West Main Street, Hebron.
Village Council voted unanimously last night to appoint Mr. Randy Wolf to fill a vacant Council position created by Councilmember Moore’s resignation.
Mayor Layton read an Oath of Office to Mr. Wolf and welcomed him to Village Council. Council President Dr. Valerie Mockus said Council is thankful for the excellent pool of candidates and many great choices to consider.

The regularly scheduled July 4th , 2022 Planning & Zoning meeting has been rescheduled to Monday, June 27th, 2022, at 6:30 pm due to a conflict with the observance of the Independence Day holiday.

ATTENTION HEBRON RESIDENTS
The Village of Hebron Council is seeking applicants interested in being considered for appointment to fill a vacant Council seat. Village Council serves as the legislative branch of the local government and votes on laws and proposals relating to various community issues. Council persons make legislative decisions dealing with topics such as the allocation of funding to provide for public services, community development projects, or issues of land use and budget matters. The selected person would be expected to attend all meetings of Village Council. This appointment will fill an unexpired term that runs through 12/31/2023. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, a resident of Hebron and a registered voter. The Village of Hebron is seeking a part-time General Laborer for the Public Works Department. This is a temporary seasonal position, up to 32 hr/week, beginning in May and ending September 30th.

The Village of Hebron Planning and Zoning Board has scheduled a Public Hearing on Monday, June 6, 2022, at 6:30 pm at 934 West Main Street, Hebron OH in Council Chambers.
Topic: An application was received for a zoning variance. The applicants are asking to not construct sidewalks along the front of their new homes.
1179.13 SIDEWALKS.
All sidewalks will be installed and constructed as outlined in the Hebron Construction Standards.
(e) Development along Existing Street. Any development of property which is located in a Residential, Neighborhood Commercial, or General Commercial District will include the installation of a sidewalk on the side of the street being developed. The sidewalk will extend across the full length of the development’s street frontage.
The Village of Hebron will begin the 2022 mosquito control program this month. As weather permits, a member of the Public Works Department will be treating for mosquitoes each Friday morning at approximately 3:00 AM. We may treat more than once a week in specified areas, depending on conditions. We will not treat on mornings with rain, high winds, temperatures below 60 degrees, or in an area where people are outdoors at the time of treating. The treatments will continue until further notice.
The driver will have information on the product with him. A copy is also on file at the Hebron Municipal Complex for review.
Anyone with respiratory problems should close their windows and remain inside during the time treatments are conducted.
Residents may assist by eliminating standing water in objects around the property. Stagnant water serves as a breeding ground for mosquitoes.
